Online Therapy for Young Adults in Colorado & Washington

At Afterspace, we believe in strengthening the social wellness of our community. This starts with providing brace spaces for young adults to feel, express, and be seen. We practice healthy ways of relating to each other and navigating the complicated world we’ve all been handed.

Embark on a Journey of Self-Discovery

I offer a mindfulness-based approach to therapy that can help you:

  • Move through anxiety, overwhelm, and depression

  • Expand capacity for difficult conversations & restorative approaches to conflict

  • Find grounding and presence during life transitions

  • Make peace with a critical inner voice

  • Identify feelings that are underneath negative thoughts

  • Become “unstuck” and experience the benefits of presence, compassion, and a mindful approach to life (with or without a meditation practice ;).

Growing up, I grappled with a harsh inner critic that manifested as defensiveness, pessimism, and judgment.

Although I appeared resilient on the surface, within, I harbored self-doubt, insecurity, and fear. I aspired to forge deep connections, yet I was constrained by unhealthy relational patterns that held me back.

My path toward healing gained clarity when I relocated to the West Coast. This shift provided the perspective needed to recognize the patterns I had developed in response to my shame-based upbringing on the East Coast.

Through dedicated wellness practices such as therapy, dance, education, and mindfulness, I got acquainted with my inner world, fostering a profound reconciliation with myself.

This practice expanded my capacity to connect with others in ways I had always yearned for.

I cultivated two invaluable resources from this transformation: self-compassion and unwavering self-acceptance.

My personal journey has been one of profound transformation.

Hi, I’m Bridgett (she/her).

I identify as a white, cis-gender woman, and stand as a steadfast ally of the LBGTQIA+ community and folks with non-monogamous relational orientations.

My roots trace back to a suburb of Pittsburgh, and since then, I have lived in 4 different states across the US.

I'm a serial entrepreneur, a dedicated music enthusiast, a plant mom, and a movement practitioner.

I am fascinated by the profound influence of small-group social dynamics and love exploring them with a bit of facilitated structure, like authentic relating and restorative practices.

Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed individuals can change the world. In fact, it’s the only thing that ever has.”
— Margaret Mead

Social Wellness

My goal is to evolve my practice into an IRL (in real life) community space that provides a nourishing and restorative social sanctuary where individuals and groups can connect, thrive, heal, and cultivate belonging.

Afterspace focuses on providing a unique social wellness experience beyond traditional social spaces centered around alcohol culture.

Instead, we facilitate an intentional approach to social wellness that prioritizes genuine connections, personal growth, and healing in a restorative and nurturing environment.

Stay connected for more on this exciting journey toward #socialwellness4life.
